The Sterling North Society Programs for 2009

February 8 The 18th Annual Hometown Talent Show, Edgerton
Performing Arts Center, 1:30 p.m. Join us for a
wonderful afternoon of great entertainment and fun!
Proceeds from this fundraiser are used to maintain and
operate the Sterling North Home & Museum.
Complimentary refreshments, door prizes, raffle drawing
March 14 PT Pledge Campaign. The society is continuing its
tradition of community service by volunteering for a shift answering phones at Wisconsin Public TV.
June 27 “Read Along With Arielle.” Arielle North Olson - author, critic, and daughter of Sterling North will share her books. Activities will be provided for children.
Edgerton Public Library 1:00-4:00 p.m. Refreshments.
July 12 Albion Academy Ice Cream Social. 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Pie, ice cream, beverages. The museum is open for tours. Please, support their major fund raiser.
August 2 Dianne Moller - Raptor Rehabilitator - 2:00 PM - Sterling North Barn. Dianne is licensed as an educator, falconer, rehabilitator and eagle handler through state and federal agencies. Visit http://www.hooswoods.org for more info.
October 1 Annual meeting of the society. North Barn - 6:30 p.m. Reception to honor volunteers. Special meeting to approve changes in the by-laws. Election of board members, year-end reports, adoption of the budget, and business meeting.
October 17 Edgerton Book and Film Festival - More information to follow - The Sterling North Home will be open.
December 3 Holiday party, co-hosted with The Friends of the Edgerton Public Library 6:00 p.m. at the library. Make ornaments and decorate the Children’s Library
tree. Fabulous entertainment and scrumptious refreshments.

The Sterling North Home and Museum, 409 West Rollin Street, is open to visitors Sunday afternoons 1:00-4:30 p.m., April through December, or by appointment. Open during January, February, and March by appointment only. These facilities are handicapped accessible.
